Jo supports the development of SOWA's annual professional learning and training calendar, serves as the primary lead on trainer recruitment and development, and manages SOWA's professional learning services for licensed school age care in partnership with DCYF.

Her work focuses on social/emotional learning, trauma-informed practices, and racial equity, building strong partnerships to create environments that foster healing, growth, and connection for youth and families.
Jo is a dedicated advocate for community building, focused on empowering teams working with youth across Washington. She provides training, ongoing support, and a strong commitment to understanding community needs, ensuring youth professionals can create safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces for young people.
