The Director of Finance and Administration has primary responsibility for the organization’s financial operations, as well as human resources (HR), data systems, information technology (IT), and office administration. A key leadership position at SOWA, the director contributes to overall organizational strategy while leading the daily management of the financial and operations services.

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Classification: Exempt 

Hiring range: Pay band 32, $124,000-$148,000 annual salary range based on relevant experience. Over time, the employee in this role may earn up to $173,000 per year with additional years of service.

The BSK Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for the King County Best Starts for Kids (BSK) Expanded Learning Initiative to coordinate grantmaking and programmatic administrative needs. 

40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Hiring range: Pay band 22, $53,500-$61,000 annual salary range based on relevant experience. Over time, the employee in this role may earn up to $69,000 per year with additional years of service.

FEBRUARY 11, 2025

The Refugee School Impact Training and Resource Manager will manage Refugee School Impact training and a subcontract for the development of materials and media resources for students, parents, and educators.  In addition, this position will support site visits, monitoring reports, technical assistance, and federal reporting for S2S school districts.

20 hours per week, Monday-Friday (0.5 FTE)
This position is a part time (20 hrs/week) position, made possible through contracts that are currently secured through September 2026. This position could be extended if contracts are renewed.

Hiring range: Pay band 25, $32,500-$38,500 annual salary range for this 20 hrs/week position (equivalent of $65,000-$77,000 per year for a full time 1.0 FTE position) based on relevant experience.
