About SOWA Workshops Our workshops offer an interactive space for professionals to develop their individual skills and for program managers seeking supports around training their staff. Open to all, our workshops are designed to support those working with young people, build program management skills, and develop social emotional skills. Thanks to our partnership with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), providers working in licensed school-age programs can receive STARS credits from our workshops. Most SOWA workshops are STARS approved. Classes fill quickly and registrations are processed in the order received. An email confirmation is sent when your registration is complete. SOWA reserves the right to cancel any training event two business days prior to the event. In case of cancellation, registrants will be notified and registration fees refunded. If you cannot attend a training event, we will refund your registration fees only if we are contacted at least two business days prior to the event. Otherwise, no refunds will be given. |
